How Xact has contributed to DLR Kredit’s IT development for 20 years is a long story… the short version goes something like this:
“We have a high level of productivity in our system. With good support from Xact we have chosen to restructure our development environment for a smooth, updated IBM solution,” says IT Director Christian Willemoes from DLR Kredit. Xact has gone through several conversions with DLR Kredit. First from CSP 4 to VAG and three years ago from VAG to EGL. Xact has been responsible for both conversions and training the IT staff in the new platform, and everything went as it should.

Cooperation with Xact has been a strategic choice for DLR Kredit for the past 20 years. Throughout the years, DLR Kredit has had at least one person from Xact associated with their development department and cooperation has included training, consulting, coaching and implementation of new solutions. Our biggest challenge is compliance
The financial sector is subject to many regulations. DLR Kredit must document all changes and fixes, and they should be able to go back and forth between production environment, test environment and running system, without either the data or any kind of information is lost along the way. “Xact controls our infrastructure. They know our system development platform Rational Business Developer (RBD) and our two development languages ​​EGL and EGL RUI to the bottom,” says IT Director Christian Willemoes. It has given us some robust and functioning development systems that meet the many compliance requirements 100%. “We can meet all requirements, and our systems are functioning as they should to be fully in line with the law,” continues Christian Willemoes.

Xact has close and direct contact with IBM’s software development lab in North Carolina, which has been a great help over the years when DLR Kredit have experienced problems with their tools (RBD). “We were able to go into direct dialogue with those who had the responsibility of developing RBD, so our specific wants and needs were heard,” said Christian Willemoes.
